Friends and Family,
Three of our Marines were recently promoted (Corporals Patterson and Shikar; Lance Corporal Tesh). Also, I'm sure most of you have heard, we have been scheduled to rotate back to Hawaii in June. There is always a possibility of an extension but right now we're on schedule.
With half of March already over, the temperature here is heating up rather quickly. Luckily, our tents on base have air conditioning. Our operations continue to run smoothly and we are consistently winning over the people of Afghanistan. Over the last month alone, several weapons caches have been turned over to our company. We also had a very successful company operation recently (check out www.usmc.mil and click on the Operation Enduring Freedom link, then click on the article about 3/3 in Khowst).
I hope you enjoy the pictures. We have back-to-back operations scheduled shortly and will be gone most of week. Take care and aloha.

good to hear about the June possible coming home date. Glad the missions are going OK and you guys have made it safely back. It's good to know the Afgan people are seeing y'all being there for the freedom they can have as a good thing. I wish the NEWS people could show some of hte good things you guys do. We as parents and loved ones do know what good y'all do and thank you MARINES for that. May god continue to bless and keep you guys safe and in the palm of His hand. My prayers are for peace in each and every one of your hearts as you go about working for peace. God-Bless

Hey Lt,
I have been shooting the shit with Gunny Carroll, having found you guys from his post on anysoldier.com. I box and send whatever a few times a week and recently began keeping all the news available on the net about 3/3 Weapons at foreveramerica.blogspot.com
Check it out, maybe some family members would be curious to see what's out there on you guys. Many of the articles have great photos. I sent a link to Gunny Carroll, but his virus blocker screened it out. Maybe you can help him fix it. Is it warm weather gear time there yet?
Stay safe, make the locals smile, and kill all of Mullah Omar's buddies so I can tell my kids we know the Marines who won the Afghan War.
