Hey Cpl. Sparkman
Believe I have spotted you, standing in the upper left corner of the photo. Looking sharp as usal. Infact, the enire platoon looks sharp. From an old salty retired swabby, you guys are the best and I say that from the bottom of my heart. I had many opportunities to work with the marines during my last ten years in the navy aboard two LHD's, the Kearsarge and the Saipan. I have always been impressed with your didication and your undaunting loyalty to one another. Semper Fi, from SMCS (SW) RET.

Hey, Josh Cox. I think I spotted you. Are you fourth from the right, second row? I think that's you. Talk about a good looking bunch of guys. Certainly some of the Marine Corps finest. Glad to hear you are all doing well. Please continue to look out for one another and stay safe. Can't wait until you get home. Love you all.

Hey Thomas,

I think I see you over on the left about the 4th over. THE ONE WHO NEEDS TO GROW A LITTLE HAIR! You have had head gear on on the other pictures and I almost didn't recognize you. It's fun to see the group together again. I hope you all are counting the days you can see all your loved ones. We are here waiting for you.

Hey Jeff!
We picked you out right away, right up front. You handsome Devil Dog, you!
Congratulations to you and all your fellow Marines for the outstanding humanitarian work with the Afghani people. I know they must appreciate what the U.S. Marines, the Navy Corpsmen and doctors are doing for them. May God bless each and every one of you, keep you safe, and bring you home to your families and friends soon. Semper Fidelis!

Hey Josh Cox
Your mom sent your last box without me, so I didn't get to put a birthday card in. I thought I would send you an e-mail instead, so hope you have a very happy birthday.
I am praying all of you are alright, and that you come home soon.
love, aunt Patsy
